Redditors are pissed (and delighted) about the temporary shutdown of its r/games subreddit

Usually, being a gamer on the first of April is good fun — jokes, memes, pranks about Half-Life 3. But the moderators of Reddit’s r/Games subreddit made it very clear when they shuttered the community today that they were dead serious. Their cutting of the proverbial phone wires wasn’t just a protest against hate speech, it was an incitement aimed at a gaming community that occasionally gets a little too complacent the terrible things said by its members on a regular basis. The moderators presented an album full of terrible comments from across the subreddit, espousing views we won’t repeat…

Report: 2019 iPhones will be able to wirelessly charge other devices

Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro introduced a neat party trick that I found to be surprisingly useful: It can wirelessly charge other devices placed on its back. A similar featured appeared on Samsung’s Galaxy S10, and now it’s making its way to the 2019 iPhones, according to reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (and via MacRumors). Kuo first hinted at the feature in February, but today he reiterates its arrival, also suggesting Apple will include bigger batteries to make the feature more useful. The timing seems right, considering Apple just released its new AirPods capable of being charged wirelessly – and especially…

SEGA finally revealed the official release date of the Genesis Mini, its answer to the craze of fun-sized retro consoles that peaked last year. As cool as it’ll be to see the return of one of gaming‘s most golden of oldies, SEGA may have missed the boat on this fad — and now we get to see if gamers actually want to buy a retro console that doesn’t have “Nintendo” emblazoned on it. SEEEEGGGGAAAA! The iconic SEGA Genesis returns September 19, 2019, with our lovingly crafted SEGA Genesis Mini for $79.99! Simply plug-in and play 40 of the console’s legendary…

What’s the secret to growing a successful business? If you’re like me, you’ve probably read countless articles touting the importance of “the hustle” and “the grind.” It’s the idea that you as a CEO should be working 80 hour weeks and pushing your employees to give more of their own time in the effort to build your brand. But as a CEO myself, I’ve learned that all too often business owners can take the “hustle and grind” mentality too far. While you never want to let your million-dollar idea slip by, too much emphasis on hustling your way to the…
