Bittrex: New York’s denial of our BitLicense application contained ‘factual inaccuracies’

Seattle-based cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex is “saddened and disappointed” by the New York Department of Financial Services’ (NYDFS) rejection of its BitLicense application. In its official statement, Bittrex said it fully disputed the findings of the NYDFS decision. “First, and foremost, we adamantly disagree with NYDFS’ claims and allegations in regard to our anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance practices.
