Ubisoft today announced it’d be giving away Assassin’s Creed Unity away for free, as a tribute to the damaged Notre-Dame and to give gamers “the chance to experience the majesty and beauty of the cathedral” in the wake of the fire. Coinbase expands cryptocurrency trading services across 11 new markets

Coinbase, one of the longest serving exchanges in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, is expanding its services across Latin America and Southeast Asia. As a result of the expansion, cryptocurrency enthusiasts in Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile, India, Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, and New Zealand will now be able to access the company’s crypto-to-crypto trading services. The expansion means Coinbase is now available to customers in 53 countries. New CRISPR tool could eradicate viral diseases with long-range DNA shredding

An international team of scientists recently unveiled a new CRISPR-based tool capable of shredding long portions of targeted DNA strands. The new technique provides advantages over previous methods and could potentially lead to a cure for viral diseases such as herpes and hepatitis-C. The new tool is called Type I CRISPR-Cas3.
