OnePlus today confirmed that its upcoming ‘One’ smartphone will be fitted with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. One Plus founder and chief executive Pete Lau, formerly an executive at Oppo, confirmed his company would be using the Sony Exmor IMX214 CMOS sensor. In a forum post, he explained the rationale behind this particular component: “After going through almost every single manufacturer and the latest models in the market, we felt that Sony offered the best wide-aperture sensors out there. We were confident that with the proper set of lenses and software optimization, our camera would take beautiful pictures in any situation.”…

Office Lens lets you scan documents and whiteboards with your Windows Phone directly into OneNote

As part of the slew of OneNote announcements, Microsoft today also launched Office Lens for Windows Phone, which essentially puts a portable scanner in your pocket that sends everything you take a picture of directly to OneNote. Facebook today teamed up with TED to bring exclusive content to the Ideas section of Facebook Paper. The collaboration will run for the duration of the TED 2014 conference in Vancouver (March 17 to March 21) and will feature exclusive content (posts, photos, and presentations from TED fellows) coming out of the event.
