Google Now arrives in Chrome for Windows and Mac

Google Now has finally arrived on the desktop. Google today announced Google Now is being pushed to the Chrome stable channel for Windows and Mac “starting today and rolling out over the next few weeks.” This means Google Now notifications will finally be available to desktop and laptop Chrome users, in addition to Android and iOS users. To turn the feature on, all you need to do is sign in to Chrome with the same Google Account you’re using for Google Now on mobile. Yahoo Screen arrives on Roku, lets you watch SNL clips, news, music and Yahoo originals on your TV

Yahoo Screen is now available as a Roku channel, following its roll-out on Apple TV and iOS last year. As with its other incarnations, Yahoo Screen is designed to give people easy access to shows such as Saturday Night Live, The Colbert Report and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, as well as live news, music and Yahoo’s original TV shows. Apple adds NPR news station to iTunes Radio

National Public Radio (NPR) today announced that it’s jumping on board as the app’s first news provider, delivering a non-stop steady stream of headlines and in-depth reporting.
