Nokia hosting ‘more’ Lumia event on April 2 in San Francisco to talk about Microsoft’s acquisition

TNW just got an invite to a Nokia “more” event on April 2 in San Francisco. While details are scarce, the company did make it clear the event will be about the future of Lumia and Windows Phone. Google Ventures-backed Rumr launches its semi-anonymous chat app for iOS and Android

You’ve probably heard a whisper of a secret that anonymous messaging apps are hot right now. Behold the latest: Rumr, a group chat app that tells you who’s in the chatroom, but doesn’t show who’s saying what. Rumr uses a color scheme to provide what co-founder James Jerlecki calls “sliding scale anonymity.”  Participants are each assigned a different color chat bubble, and the colors are shuffled around whenever someone joins or leaves the group. First Follower shows who the first person to follow you on Twitter was

Twitter turned eight last week, and a tool that locates your first tweet surfed that wave, becoming popular among users of the microblogging service. Following on from that is First Follow, a service from Socialrank that tells you the name/handle of the first person who followed you on Twitter. Personally, I think this is a lot more interesting than your first tweet since it isn’t something that you are in control of. Shazam boosts its dance music credentials, inking deal to access Juno’s arsenal of electronic music – including vinyl

Music-tagging service Shazam has announced a new tie-up with dance music store Juno, one that will see millions more dance tracks added to Shazam’s database. This news comes a little more than a year after Shazam announced a similar deal to reel in Beatport’s arsenal of electronic music.
