NPD: Sony’s PS4 beats Microsoft’s Xbox One as top US console for the fourth month in a row

Sony widened its lead over Microsoft in April as its PlayStation 4 console outsold the Xbox One for the fourth month in a row, according to new data from market research firm The NPD Group. “Life to date, sales of PS4 and Xbox One hardware have more than doubled the combined sales of PS3 and 360 hardware through their first six months of sales,” NPD analyst Liam Callahan said. NPD only tracks retail hardware and software sales, but it estimates that total consumer spending on gaming topped $1.14 billion in April when digital sales, subscriptions and mobile apps are taken…

The premise is straightforward: the player must write code to advance in the game. The built-in tutorial introduces you to the game: Greetings, program! eBay launches Spanish and Portuguese versions for Latin America

eBay today announced the availability of new Spanish and Portuguese versions of its popular shopping website to better reach customers in Central and South America. Now when they visit eBay.com or use eBay mobile, they’ll be treated with an experience more catered to their specific markets. Apple releases OS X 10.9.3 with improved 4K display support and USB contact, calendar syncing

Apple today updated OS X Mavericks to version 10.9.3, adding better 4K display support for late 2013 Mac Pros and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pros, and re-introduces the ability to sync calendars and contacts between an iOS device and a Mac over a USB connection.
