Ranker has officially released its widget for sharing and contributing to its collection of crowdsourced lists about anything. The new widget is mobile-ready and includes the option for a slideshow mode when appropriate. Since the last time we caught up with Ranker in August 2013, the company has doubled the size of its audience and grown its monthly page views by more than threefold. Google reveals its self-driving cars, which have no steering wheel or brake pedals

Google’s co-founder Sergey Brin announced at the Code Coference today that the company has built a number of prototype self-driving cars from scratch. Google’s prototype cars don’t need a human to intervene at all — which means there isn’t a steering wheel, accelerator pedal or brake pedal. Instead, software and sensors replace all of those. A new update to Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite of software packages now allows for the installation of older Creative Suite apps that were available before the cloud subscription service was invented. Designers, artists, videographers and others who use apps like Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro and Illustrator can now use the cloud service desktop app to install older versions of software that they own.
