Google acquires mDialog to boost DoubleClick and help publishers monetize their video content

Google has acquired mDialog, a company that helps media companies deliver, analyze and ultimately monetize advertising against their content across multiple streaming platforms such as iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, Google TV and Xbox. The team will be joining DoubleClick, a subsidiary of Google that helps publishers monetize their sites, services and content. At the same time, it also gives advertisers the ability to manage, serve and review campaigns across multiple platforms. NewsCred, the visual content marketing and syndication service, today launched a new microsite called The Power of Visual Storytelling, in conjunction with its partner Getty Images, the stock photo agency. The site, and its accompanying free 34-page White Paper of the same name, provide advice and examples for marketers tasked with selecting imagery for various campaigns.
