Speech recognition specialist Sensory has announced TrulySecure, a new biometric technology that monitors your face and your voice in order to authenticate you on your smartphone, PC or tablet. You might not have heard of Sensory before, but chances are you’ve used its technology. The company has embedded its voice recognition software into many of the major manufacturers. The Moto X, for instance, relies on Sensory for its touchless “always on” voice feature. TrulySecure works by watching and listening as you repeat a passphrase a couple times. The system tracks the way your lips move and registers the unique attributes of…

Greg Zontanos is the co-founder and CEO at Locish, a Q&A app that helps users find new places to eat, drink, and have fun. They finally did it. creative thinking
Back in November, we brought you news on Infinit, which we called a fast, unlimited file-transfer desktop app for creatives. Then, Infinit was a Mac-only desktop app in (public) beta. But as of last month, Infinit is a fully launched product with a Windows app to boot, though the latter remains in beta for now pending some design polish. Oh, and the Paris-based company now has $1.8 million in funding under its belt too. A lot has changed across the board since we covered the early version, so here we take a quick look at what’s what under the hood….

If you live in Australia, Japan or South Korea, it’s now possible to pre-order the Samsung Gear Live from the Google Play store. The smartwatch costs $250 (Australian dollars), ¥22,000 (yen) and ₩224,000 (won) respectively and is expected to leave Google’s warehouse on July 7. The Samsung Gear Live was announced at Google’s I/O conference last week and is one of the first smartwatches to run Android Wear. LG is launching its G Watch at the same time, ahead of the highly-anticipated, circular Moto 360 later this year. Unlike Google’s mobile OS for smartphones and tablets, the software experience will be the…
