Back in April, we reported that Microsoft was targeting broadcasters with the Skype TX, studio grade software “that delivers high quality audio and video output to seamlessly connect broadcast and media productions with people around the world.” Today, Skype TX has been released to manufacturing (RTM) and is demoing the service at IBC in Amsterdam. RTM is a version of software given to manufacturers to include in their hardware to iron out any additional bugs and optimize the integration. Apple’s new 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus are now available for pre-order for customers based in the US, UK, France, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and Japan. The devices will ship on September 19, and are due to go on sale in a number of second tier markets from September 26, as 9to5mac notes. Unlocked, the iPhone 6 will cost $649 for a 16GB model, $749 for a 64GB model and $849 for a 128GB model.
