Suicide Film Renews Calls For Golden Gate Bridge Barriers

Immigration startup Bridge US today launched its business-focused product for helping companies procure work visas and Green Cards for their employees. The company bills itself as a “Turbotax for immigration” since it uses Web forms to guide customers through the complicated process. Bridge US works with immigration attorneys to submit applications, although it does have a cheaper self-service option. US companies have been known to avoid hiring overseas candidates because of the additional expense, headache and time required to get them their papers. Bridge US charges $2,000 for a typical H1-B visa application, compared to $3,500 to $4,500 from traditional attorneys….

Kim Dotcom has parted ways with Baboom, a music streaming service he supported and used to launch ‘Good Times,’ his first-ever album. The platform is currently available as a preview for early access users, although Baboom says it’ll launch properly in the first quarter of 2015. Dotcom had a 45 percent shareholding in the company, but sold his stake to VIG Limited. “Kim is moving on to focus on other projects, and both camps wish each other well with future plans,” Grant Edmundson, CEO of Baboom said. Good bye @Baboom. I was holding u back. The music industry hates me….

Slowly but surely, Apple’s new CarPlay dashboard experience is coming to fruition. Pioneer has announced its first stereo that supports the platform out of the box, as well as a firmware update that will bring the experience to a further five. The new dashboard is called the SPH-DA120, and the firmware update will hit the following models: AVIC-F60DAB, AVIC-F960DAB, AVIC-F960BT, AVIC-F860BT and AVH-X8600BT. If you own a Pioneer stereo, you’ll probably need to dig out the box to check its model number and see if it’s made the cut. A number of app developers have backed CarPlay, but Spotify is one…
