Steve Jobs biopic dropped by Sony but could survive at Universal

The Aaron Sorkin penned, Danny Boyle helmed Steve Jobs biopic is in trouble again. Just weeks after confirming then losing Christian Bale as its lead, the film has now been dropped by Sony, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The massively-hyped movie, based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of Jobs, is now being pitched to other studios. Universal is rumoured to be interested in picking up the project but has yet to say anything officially. The Washington Post, which was acquired by Amazon boss Jeff Bezos in August 2013, has launched a new Android tablet app and, surprise, surprise, it’s starting off as an Amazon Fire exclusive. Amazon Fire owners will get access to The Washington Post app as part of an over-the-air update. It’ll offer free, unlimited access to the paper’s customised tablet content for six months with no subscription required. Paul McCartney and Jaunt release an awesome 360-degree concert video for Google Cardboard

A concert video from music legend Sir Paul McCartney is the first publicly available content from cinematic virtual reality startup Jaunt. Owners of Google Cardboard and a compatible Android device can download a free app to watch McCartney perform “Live and Let Die” at Candlestick Park through an immersive 360-degree 3D video. Notably, McCartney’s performance was the final concert at Candlestick Park before the stadium was closed. Huawei-made Honor 3C Android smartphone launches with 5-inch display and £110 retail price
