Amazon adds 10,500 Post Office parcel pick-up points across the UK

It’s probably no surprise that this move comes just ahead of Christmas, but Amazon has today announced an extension of its local ‘PickUp’ locations to thousands of Post Office branches dotted around the UK. In total, the 10,500 new branches takes the total number of local pick-up points in the UK to more than 16,000. The new options are being offered thanks to integration of Royal Mail’s Click and Collect service, and all customers need to do is select their preferred collection location at checkout. Xiaomi has just announced its first 4G mobile device in India, dubbed the Redmi Note 4G, with sales slated to begin in December. It has partnered with mobile carrier Airtel to sell the smartphone in their retail stores, in addition to its online local flash sales with Flipkart. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is slated to begin selling two variants of the Redmi Note in December: the Redmi Note (with 3G support) and the Redmi Note 4G.
