Viber brings its sticker characters to life in mobile games

Along with messaging, voice and video calls, Viber is adding games to its mobile app, with social features that allow users to connect with their contacts over adventures and puzzles. Three titles will be available at launch for Android and iOS devices via Viber Games: Viber Candy Mania, Viber Pop and Wild Luck Casino. The first two feature characters that Viber sticker users will recognize as Violet and Legcat. France bans UberPop after Uber avoids another court clash in Paris

Friday brought good news for Uber in France as a commercial court in Paris refused to hear a lawsuit brought by its competitors that tried to ban its UberPop service, but a new week has brought new problems. The French interior ministry announced today that UberPop will be banned in France from January. Ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet told French TV station iTELE, that a new law regulating taxis and chauffeured cars taking effect in 2015 is more restrictive. Microsoft begins retailing devices, consoles, Office and more in India via Amazon

Microsoft has just launched its brand store on Amazon India, allowing shoppers to buy its laptops, tablets, phones, consoles, accessories and boxed software in one place online. The new store will stock exclusive Microsoft products and bundles, and feature special offers as well. Customers will also get their purchases shipped for free. Currently on offer are Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles (with game and controller bundles), Microsoft Lumia and Nokia Lumia phones, Lenovo laptops, Microsoft peripherals and boxed versions of Windows 8.1 and various editions of Office. The Microsoft Brand Store is now open at Amazon India.
