A Super Mario battle royale should not be this addictive

It’s finally happened… our beloved Mario has finally made his way into a battle royale game, just like everything and its shadow. My first reaction was, “What madness hath we wrought?” My second was, “I’ve played sixteen games already, what the heck?” “Mario Royale” is a browser-based game that can be played on keyboard or controller. The game was created by YouTuber Inferno Plus, and uses shortened version of worlds from the original NES Super Mario Bros as the battleground, of sorts. You play against up to 99 other players, racing to see who can get to the end stage…

Tomorrow, Facebook is expected to release full details of its new “cryptocurrency” project Libra — as always, Twitter has lots to say. Few concrete facts about Facebook‘s Libra (formally known as GlobalCoin) have been made public so far. Reports indicate the likes of Mastercard, Visa, Stripe, and PayPal have already paid a $10 million fee to become validators on the network, which allows untapped access to related data. Facebook‘s rumored goal is to attract 100 companies to join the Libra Association, which would see Zuckerberg and co. net a cool $1 billion right off the bat. Libra Coin: A peer-to-peer we’ll do whatever we want…

Assigning blame can often be a complex task. A person’s actions, intentions, and state of mind all come into consideration when meting out judgement over any wrongdoing. Across various industries, examples of medical malpractice and reckless endangerment are continuous eventualities that insurers need to deal with. The matters of risk and responsibility are key factors taken into account when any kind of insurance policy is being drafted, and when any insurance investigation is being carried out. Historically, insurers have had to consider only the human aspect of parties involved in any insurable matter. Today, things are a lot more complex.…

Russians (not North Koreans) thought to be behind $530M Coincheck hack

The $530 million hack that blighted Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck in January 2018 may have been carried out by Russian hackers. A virus thought to be used in the hack has been found on employee computers and is linked to Russian hacker groups, the Asahi Shimbun reports. The hackers allegedly emailed employees with malicious files, including the known Mokes and Netwire malware, which grant attackers remote access to infected systems. It’s believed that employees inadvertently, or unknowingly, installed the viruses onto their machines. As a result, attackers were able to gain access to and manipulate the company’s security keys to…

Wikipedia titles you can sing to the ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ theme song, tweeted

Cartoons have given us a lot over the years. They’ve entertained, they’ve taught us valuable life lessons, but – and most importantly of all – they’ve provided us with some bonafide musical bangers. Just consider the animated X-Men series’ theme song: Or the irresistible shuffle of The Simpsons’ opening music? But, if we’re going to truly honest, if we’re going to genuinely look within ourselves to find a higher truth, we all know the greatest cartoon theme song of all time. Yes, that’s right, please stand up for the intro to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: It has everything you could ever want from a piece of…
