Gett, the company behind the taxi-booking app of the same name in the US, announced today that its Android app is now compatible with Android Wear devices. From today, users in the UK, Russia, Israel and the US can book a car on demand using voice commands. As an extra bonus you’ll also get driver notifications when your driver is on the way, and when they arrive. It’s worth pointing out that in some markets, the company operates as GetTaxi, rather than simply Gett. You can also set a destination, pay and rate your driver directly from your wrist too with…

GIFs are basically everyone’s favorite thing, right? One of the most frustrating things, though, is when you see a great GIF and wonder where it came from in the first place. Sometimes, it’s impossible to even trace it. GIFYouTube is on a mission to fix this, as well as create a type of Product Hunt/Reddit for GIFs. Now when you create a GIF using the service you’ll get a new type of GIF that has sound and can be clicked to head back to the source video. You can still grab the plain-old GIF if you want, but now you have the…

Amazon has introduced a nifty new tool to allow customers to hold their own giveaways. Anyone with an Amazon account can choose prizes from the company’s catalog and host a contest on the site for free. To create a giveaway, you need to select up to 50 prizes – items have to ship from Amazon.com to be eligible and the total value is limited to $5,000 – and enter your contest details. You then receive a shareable link. It’s a neat addition that makes a lot of practical sense.  Giveaways are a great way to build audiences and engagement, but some of the people…
