tumblrtv
Tumblr is launching a new tool to make it easier to look through the myriad of GIFs on its platform. Called Tumblr TV, it’s a full-screen GIF catalog you can use to browse through some of the most popular images being shared, or search for new ones. And so the saga ends – Taylor Swift has decided to put her most recent album, ‘1989,’ on Apple Music. After the events of this week, I've decided to put 1989 on Apple Music…and happily so. — Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) June 25, 2015 In case you’ve missed out on the Swift vs Apple case the past week or so, Taylor Swift wrote an open letter to Apple over the weekend where she stated she wouldn’t put 1989 on the company’s upcoming streaming service. Apple Music will offer a 3-month trial, but originally, Apple would not be paying artists, something Swift…

GitHub’s homegrown text editor has hit version 1.0 today, 18 months after the company launched a preview version of the app. Atom, which has been downloaded 1.3 million times, has seen 155 releases since the editor launched and now features a Windows, Linux and Mac installer. The new version also brings significant performance and stability improvements, focusing on scrolling, typing and start times.
