After announcing it was getting into the movie-making business back in January, Amazon has finally revealed its first feature-length title. The working title is ‘Chi-Raq’ and it’s being directed by Spike Lee. The movie is written by both Lee and Kevin Wilmott, and the storyline will concentrate on violence in inner city Chicago. The lead character will be played by Teyonah Parris of Mad Men fame. Some of the celebrities involved include Nick Cannon, Wesley Snipes, Jennifer Hudson, John Cusack and Samuel. L. Jackson. This post was brought to you by Somewhere, the visual platform for sharing what you do and seeing how the world works.

The idea of “company culture” is many things—call it the recipe to success, the key to retention, the promise of profit or even the secret sauce. The elements of what company culture is made up of can be incredibly obscure, while also being contrastingly unique. Company culture wears many different hats depending on the company in question. Google—a constant among the top-ranked companies to work for—with its sprawling Googleplex campus, shared bicycles, on-site medical and legal professionals among an endless list of perks, is difficult to compete with when wooing the best of the best. Google even employs a Chief…

As one collection of stats points out, the cost of poor customer support is through the roof.  In response to a negative customer experience, 58 percent of Americans would never use that company again. On a macro level, poor…

It’s Amazon Prime Day, the big old discount extravaganza which the company was talking up as a new Black Friday and…so far, it kinda sucks. That’s according to scores of people on Twitter and beyond who are moaning about the meagre offerings. @amazon great job on this #primeday sale. Did you guys decide to clean out your junk drawer? I'll just go to the dollar store instead. — nick. (@nicktation) July 15, 2015 So far #primeday seems like 'get rid of junk nobody wants' day. — Katie Olrich (@KatieOlrich) July 15, 2015 #PrimeDay: The yard sale on the internet. Just…
