If you’re a developer using Twitter’s Digits to sign users up for your app or service, get ready to offer a more secure log-in and a way for users to quickly find their friends. Today Digits introduced friend-finding and two-factor verification to the service. Friend-finding scans the user’s contact list and makes it easier for them to find friends already using the service when they sign and if they are current users, they can be alerted when friends join a service.
