A second man has been arrested in connection with running Silk Road 2.0,the anonymous online marketplace that sprang up after the original Silk Road was shut down in 2013. Silk Road 2.0 was itself closed in late 2014 with the arrest of Blake Benthall, who is alleged to have been the site’s lead admin Defcon. The latest arrest was of Brian Richard Farrell, in Seattle.
