I’m a map geek, so this Maps Time Travel thing is fascinating to me. It compares road travel today with what it was like in 1945. You can enter any two UK cities or postcodes and compare travel times, distances and routes you’d take today with those from 71 years ago. Spoiler: fuel is generally a lot cheaper and journey times are a lot shorter today than they were in the olden days.
