Google Chromebooks for education
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) has filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) today against Google for collecting user data and search history from students. The nonprofit says it discovered Google’s activity of tracking and storing user data when it looked into Chromebooks used in schools as well as Google Apps for Education, which offers students a range of cloud-based productivity apps and email services.
