Roost, the battery that connects your dumb smoke alarm, is now available for purchase. You can purchase Roost from GetRoost.com, HomeDepot.com or through Amazon for $34.99, or $64.99 if you want a two-pack. It will also be available at Home Depot retail locations starting this week. The 9V battery links to your Wi-Fi network via an app (available for iOS or Android), and lets you know when it’s about to run out so you can avoid those late-night battery swaps as your smoke alarm screams at you.
