‘Smart cities’ are springing up around the world as The Things Network goes global
The Things Network, the community-led Internet of Things program in Amsterdam that makes it easier for developers to turn the ‘smart city’ from a dream into a reality, is expanding internationally. Inspired by the idea of an open network that can connect all sorts of devices together across a city, groups in the USA, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, India, Australia and the UK are set to launch their own Things Networks.
