Facebook launched Mentions July of last year to allow celebrities and other “influencers”to easily keep track of interactions and share content with their fans. Today, the company is introducing the ability for celebrities to share their content on Instagram and Twitter too. Once a user makes a post to Facebook via the app, they can simply click on the menu button above the post to share onto the additional media platforms. Additionally, celebrities (or their social media managers) can now add topics they’re interested in, such as other celebrities and hashtags, to their feed.
