Lowdown’s iPhone app for smarter meetings goes free and includes its HERE notification service

Lowdown has just updated its iPhone app that informs users about the location and the attendees at their next meeting. Version 2 waives the $7.50 (£5) monthly fee and features a simplified user experience. In addition, Lowdown also incorporates the functionality of its HERE companion app, which lets people you’re meeting up with know when you’ve arrived at the venue. The app launched last March in the UK and has since opened up to over 20 markets across Europe, North America and Australia.
