Regardless of what you may think about David Bowie, his music or his other artistic pursuits — and that’s assuming you think of them at all — it’s hard to look away from this animated GIF showing his vast multiplicity of hairdos over the past 50 years. Spanning 1964 to 2014, artist Helen Green has produced a series of charming sketches that can be viewed either individually on paper or as a GIF.
