#charity urges techies to donate their time and expertise to help non-profit organizations

While it’s always nice to see tech companies make good on their Corporate Social Responsibility promises with donations and initiatives, a new program from Budapest will soon let individuals from the industry pitch in, by volunteering their skills to help NGOs. Set to launch this March, #charity is a platform that connects non-profits with IT professionals to collaborate on projects like apps, sites and content that would normally cost a pretty penny to commission.
