Windows Phone is still struggling against Android and iOS. But there is some good news: Version 8.1 of the mobile operating system has gained some significant traction among users. According to Microsoft, Windows Phone 8.1 has become, “the primary download OS version for Windows Phone apps in September.” With Windows Phone 7.x garnered less than five percent of all apps downloaded in September.
