Uber and Lyft today revealed they’re both temporarily suspending carpooling services. As more and more health organizations recommend people keep their distances from each other in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, both ridesharing services are attempting to take measures to protect both their drivers and riders without suspending operations completely. To flatten the curve of community spread in the cities we serve, we are suspending our Pool option in the US, Canada, London, and Paris.
