Samsung announces 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab S with Super AMOLED display

At its New York press conference today, Samsung announced two new tablets off its Galaxy line: the 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab S. Both tablets feature Super AMOLED screens with a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and WQXGA displays (2560×1600 pixels and 16:10 ratio), making images more crisp, rich and vibrant. The Galaxy Tab S also boasts adaptive display technology to optimize gamma, brightness, contrast and sharpness based on the content you’re viewing and where you’re using the tablet.
