Google has treated Allo to a rather unexpected update on Android and iOS. The upgrade brings a couple of new features to the recently-launched messaging application, including a refreshed Smart Smiley button and interchangeable background themes for chats. Building on Allo’s prediction algorithm, the Smart Smiley button will now interpret your conversation and suggest emoji and stickers that are relevant to what you’re typing. The functionality will also make its way to the application’s one-tap replies, enabling you to quickly respond to a message with a contextual emoji.
