Taxi app wars continue to play a big part, with Estonian company Taxify, which is active in several African countries, partnering with South African food delivery company OrderIn to launch a food ordering service to rival UberEATs. Not to be outdone, Uber was also busy, launching uberCHAPCHAP in Kenya, a service that guarantees riders they are using fuel-efficient cars.
