Count one of Alphabet’s investment arms, Google Ventures, to stay out of the state of North Carolina until further notice. According to a report from Re/code, the firm will not be making any investments in North Carolina until its controversial law preventing LBGT persons from being protected under anti-discrimination clauses is repealed.
