If you’ve ever wanted to speak is a series of buzzes, beeps and whirrs — a la BB8 or R2D2 — Canadian electronics designer AE Innovations has you covered with this amazing helmet. The helmet has a throat mic that detects when you’re speaking and then transmits a series of noises that mimmic the ‘droidspeak’ of the lovable ‘Star Wars’ droids. Better still, the mic transmits to earphones in another helmet, meaning you and a friend can have a full conversation in private while anyone outside the helmet hears two chattering droids.
