Apple is issuing $1.5 billion in bonds to help the company go green

Apple has issued $1.5 billion in bonds to help fund clean energy across the company. Lisa Jackson, Apple’s vice president of environment, policy and social initiatives, told Reuters “this will allow investors to show they will put their money where their hearts and concerns are.” Apple says the bonds will help fund clean energy projects that touch just about every part of the company.
