Politwoops
After killing off Politwoops, an archive of politicians’ deleted tweets, earlier this year, Twitter today announced that it has reached an agreement with The Sunlight Foundation and The Open State Foundation to reinstate the watchdog tool. Since 2010, Politwoops has launched more than 30 country-specific accounts aimed at catching politician’s screw ups by means of Tweets that they ultimately thought better of, and deleted, after posting. The accounts were unceremoniously deleted by Twitter in August of this year.
