The Nexus 5X goes on sale and Google celebrates with ‘instant’ Project Fi invites
Google’s Nexus 5X has finally gone on sale. The $379 handset is available today from the Google Store in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, India, Korea and Japan (pricing varies by region). LG says it’ll land in more markets in Europe, Asia and the Americas in the following weeks. It’s Google’s successor to the popular Nexus 5, featuring a 5.2-inch HD display, and comes with a Snapdragon 808 processor, the same 20.3 megapixel shooter with 1.55µm pixels as the Nexus 6P and a fingerprint detector.
