Thirty years ago, Nintendo released Shigeru Miyamoto‘s Super Mario Bros.’ and changed the video game world forever. Google is celebrating with a little Easter egg in its search results. If you look up ‘Super Mario Bros’ (‘Super Mario’ and ‘Mario Bros’ also worked for me), a small ‘?’ block will appear below the information card for the video. It works on both mobile and the Web. Click on it, and you’ll hear the classic Mario Bros. coin ‘ding’ sound. As far as we can tell, that’s all it does no matter how often you click – no secret fire flowers…
