Google adds Twitter to mobile search results

The next time you search via Google on your smartphone or tablet, you may see Twitter content as well as traditional search results. Starting today, Google will be working tweets into search, but only for mobile. Google search results will show real-time results from Twitter, which will be separated from news content using Google’s familiar card-based format. Tweets via search isn’t surprising; in February, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo mentioned the partnership in an earnings call, but offered up no details on how it would work.
