Social mobile payment app Venmo received an update today that will finally allow users to add two-factor authentication for added account security. With 2FA turned on, Venmo will alert users when sign-in activity is detected from a phone or browser not previously used to log into their account. The app will then give users the option to receive a six-digit temporary code sent to their mobile number to sign in.
