Facebook introduces an embeddable video player

At its F8 conference today, Facebook announced it is introducing a video player that can be embedded onto other sites – finally. Starting today, users will see an embed option on their videos. They’ll then be prompted to copy and paste the necessary HTML code onto their website. Previously, pretty much the only way to share a video hosted on Facebook was to link to Facebook page or share it through the platform itself – quite inconvenient if you just want to post a short clip on your blog or website.
