While some cable companies are none to happy with the idea of HBO separating its content into its own separately-available HBO Now service, there’s no denying they’ll have to embrace it eventually. That’s starting today with Cablevision, now that it’s announced an agreement with HBO to offer HBO Now to Optimum Online customers. Optimum is the first cable provider to partner with HBO for the service.
