Microsoft has today launched the Lumia 640, a 5-inch Windows Phone device that will go on sale in next month. The device will initually ship with Windows 8.1 but will be upgradeable to Windows 10 “later this year,” the company said. The device has a 5-inch display and will come with 8GB of onboard storage. It’ll be offered in single and dual-SIM variants. Alongside the 640, Microsoft also introduced a “super-sized” 640 XL with a 5.7-inch HD display and a 13-megapixel camera. It measures just 9mm thick.
