You can now explore spectacular 360-degree views of Greenland’s most-striking spots from the comfort of your home using Google Street View. UNESCO World Heritage site and popular tourist destination, the Ilulissat icefjord and ruins of the first viking colony in Brattahlid, established by Erik the Red in the year 982 are among the first set of views on offer of the world’s largest island. If that’s not enough, you can also explore the Norse ruins of the Hvalsey Church and Nuutoqaq, a colonial harbor boasting glorious vistas, fjords and historical monuments to local heroes.
