Uber reportedly left its lost and found items log exposed online

We’re always leaving stuff behind in cabs, and many Uber drivers are kind enough to report them to the company. But Uber proved itself to be careless when it reportedly left a lost and found database exposed to the public, as Motherboard found. The database URL now leads to a 404 Page Not Found error message, but was available for long enough to ascertain that it was likely linked to Uber’s Los Angeles operations.
