Keeping it real: 500px teams up with Shestock for authentic portrayal of women in stock photos

The depiction of women in media and advertising has rarely been more controversial than it is today. Over the last decade — as image editing tools became easier to use — grotesque gaffes emerged from a massive wave of artificial body sculpting that promotes impossible-to-achieve physical standards.
