Sony decides to screen The Interview on Christmas Day in select theaters after all

Well this a surprise. Or maybe it’s not. It’s hard to keep up with what Sony is thinking lately. It looks like Sony will be sending out prints of The Interview to theaters for a Christmas Day showing and will reportedly put the movie on streaming services. In a statement Sony CEO Micahel Lynton said, “We have never given up on releasing The Interview, and we’re excited our movie will be in a number of theaters on Christmas Day.” One of those theaters — The Plaza in Atlanta — tweeted that it will be showing the movie until January.
