Uber suspends service in Portland for three months
When a city sues your service, it’s probably a good idea to try and work it out with said municipality. The Wall Street Journal reports that Uber and Portland, Oregon have stuck a deal that would suspend the car service for three months while the city works on changing regulations around ride-sharing services. After three months, Uber will resume offering rides regardless if the new regulations are in place.
